MEMORY OF NOBODY
A few days ago, I've experience a whole new level of life. Never before I've been asked such a favor full of responsibility. The truth is, I still can't believe what have I done. Maybe it's not a big deal for you guys out there but for me it's pretty big deal. I was asked by a friend to be his first witness during his "nikah" session. At first, I was kind of blurry and I can't give him the answer right away whether I agree or not. After having lots of thought, i agreed to be his witness. Alhamdulillah, the "nikah" session was successfully done with only one "lafaz". I was amazed by the calmness showed by him. Prior to the "nikah" session, he was a bit nervous but Alhamdulillah, he passed through it with flying colours. There were a lot of emotions involved during the "nikah" session. I can see tears and joy mixed together. The smile on the face from both side clearly showed that they were happy for their marriage. At last, they have managed to put their love and care in a way that it should be put which is through legal marriage. I am happy for them and I was really glad that I could contribute something to their marriage. Being a witness to a marriage has opened up my mind about something new. Marriage is a sacred bond and together with it comes a great responsibilities. It is natural thing that in marriage life, there will always be ups and down. Therefore, patience is needed and tolerence is required in order to make sure the sacred bond remains untied. Remember, love is not about finding a perfect person but to accept imperfect person perfectly!

KNOWLEDGE IS WISDOM
Can you imagine life without knowledge? There was a quotation written by my friend from Cambodia. Well, i kind of accidentally read what was written by him. He wrote, "Life without knowledge is like eating without digesting." Yes, what was written by him was absolutely true. In this life as long as we live, there will always be knowledge to be learned whether through direct lessons or indirect lessons. I've learned a lot and most of the knowledge i got were from people and from my mistakes. The importance of knowledge in life is undeniable. Our life is driven by knowledge and without it we are nobody, we got no technologies, we got no social life, we got nothing. As a Muslim too, if we wanted this life and the here after, the only way is by learning and expanding knowledge. I remembered one of the hadeeth of the Holy Prophet in which he said,
"If you want this world, you need to have knowledge, if you want the here after, you still need to have knowledge and if you want both, you need to have knowledge too."
From this very hadeeth, it is clear that knowledge is important in life. Even, the first commandment of Allah towards the Holy Prophet, Muhammad PBUH was also about learning. It was written in the Holy Quran in surah Al-'Alaq. Therefore, forget about ignoring knowledge. Learn as much as we can. There are lots of knowledge in this world and some are remain undiscovered. This is our obligation not only to Allah but also to ourselves, our family and our fellow societies.

PALESTINE
Sad as always when i saw my fellow brothers and sisters from Palestine struggling for survival. The latest news i saw, death toll had increased nearly 1000 people. Those innocent life had done nothing wrong and yet the Israelis strike not to defend themselves but to kill innocent people. The strike on Gaza city began on 1st Muharram, just three days before the new year eve with nearly 500 people were killed on that strike. It was a tragic day for the Palestinians. After the first strike, they did not stop but continues with series of other strikes killing hundreds of other people. The Arabs League as always had done nothing to improve the situation in Gaza. It is not because they are incapable of doing so but they are affraid of economic blockage which will be put upon them when they are trying to do something to help the Palestinians. I think that is a pretty lame excuse. For the sake of international relationship with the United State, they are more willing to shut themselves up and do nothing to help the Palestinians which are clearly their own brothers and sisters in Islam. As for us who is living far away from Palestine, although physycally nothing we could do to help our fellow Muslims there, but try at least to be concerned for what had happen there. If we could donate some money to help them, please do so. If not, the least we can do is to send them dua' of Qunut Nazilah. Pray to ALLAH to help our brothers and sisters out of their horrific situation. Together with this post, I've attached Qunut Nazilah...May ALLAH bless our fellow Muslims in Palestine.

PRESENT
Master Oogway once said this, "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift. That is why it is called present". Giving it a thought, i think what was said by him is true. I'm too concern with what was and what will be. Life is not about what was and what will be. Its about what is now. I cannot undo what was done in the past as well as predict how will the future be. All i could do is living today to its fullest and filled it with joy and happiness. So, when tomorrow comes, there will always be mysteries to be solved and when i look back at yesterday, nothing would regret me.

LEGENDARY
I'm really glad I've such wonderful and supporting friends. They are all here with me through up and down and giving me advices when i really need one. Well, i guess that is what friend for. I remembered a quotation by Barney Stinson in his Bro Code, article 1 of the code, "bros before hoes." It means your fellow brothers come in first priority before your girlfriends. Amazingly, such thing works out pretty well for me too. FYI Barney Stinson is one of the characters in television series How I met Your Mother portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris. In the series, it was said that the Bro Code was created by his great great grandfather Barnabas Stinson during revolutionary war. Too tell you the truth I'm kind of addicted to this series. It reminds me about another comedy series I used to watch not so long ago, Friends. Off the record, i think HIMYM is much more interesting series. I can't wait to see the next episode...its gonna be LEGEN, wait for it DARY, LEGENDARY!
